The hotel was short walk to Abbeye Fontevraud, Saumur, Chinon, the restaurant or public places, and ferry and travelling South thanks to its brilliant location. A lot of food for breakfast, it was exceptional!

The room seemed somewhat basic.

The units are large and nicely decorated with queen size bed. the location is quiet in a nice area, close enough to the restaurant, traveling South, and the garden. - Golf de Loudun Fontevraud is approximately a 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel too.

I was very disappointed with the stay. It was in a state of decay - and looked as though it hadn't been tended to for quite some time. The web site photos and brochures are completely misrepresentative. The place has got some potential - but it needs a lot done to it to even bring it up to 2 or 3 stars.

Lovely and nice location in a nice enough area just off travelling South, and the fields around. Lots of food options within walking distance of the venue.

The rooms were perfectly clean and tastefully decorated with a queen-size bed. the location was peaceful, close to the clubhouse and the beautiful town of Saumur. It was convenient to reach the restaurant and public areas.

The swimming pool was very dirty and cound not be used. The restaraunt menu was limited and exteremly expensive for what it was

This place and these buildings have possibilities, but now the atmosphere is very 'low-budget'. The pictures and the website looked very promising, but in fact the whole place looked like it was managed without any respect for the place nor the customers. Cheap and messy lobby without any class, expensive and average restaurant, strange opening hours (breakfast was only at 8hr30, although leaflet mentioned 8 o'clock). Get rid of the Basil Fawlty in charge, and get some real management over there.

This venue provides a cozy stay with a great location near a golf course, castle, and restaurant or public areas.

The nicest place to stay when travelling to Roiffe. Fine base for 1 night with absolutely friendly and excellent staff.

Prior to 1985 the buildings were a children's prison - not a pleasant thought

The restaurant and public areas had a fantastic location, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the upgraded comfort double room was spacious and trendy.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in several aspects. the attention to detail was impressive. From the warm greeting upon arrival to the helpful staff throughout our stay, we felt well taken care of. The rooms, with their queen-size beds and high ceilings, were spacious and comfortable. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious, with a good selection of food to choose from. The location of the hotel in the tranquil villages surrounding it added to the overall charm and relaxation of our stay.

Everything was fine and there were no major issues.
